We are a long time customer and this past visit was very uncomfortable and our concerns about the vehicle are still there, there is still a ticking noise, we were told we needed an 80,000 Service on the vehicle when we showed them we had it done at the Dublin Service Center, so why would they recommend something we already had done and not fix the problem we have had before with our Valves, when they over filled the Oil, which they have most likely done again. We only go to this location because we have no other option since our warranty is Tied Back to them and they will not release it. This location is not the same as it was in the past.

Team VW Hayward did a decent job to service my ID.4. One thing the service department can improve is to update the service status. The department said it would provide an update at 3 pm for the status. I did not receive any call and I had to call them at 4 pm eventually. It was because I needed to arrange a ride to take me to the dealership. And the service department closed at 5 pm.

Very poor communication. No one knew anything other than the service writer, he was almost impossible to get in touch with. I left numerous voicemails which weren't returned or acknowledged. To get in contact, I would have to call 6-8 times a day and hope he answered, as he wouldn't return my calls. My car was left a mess after service, the technician spilled oil down the front of my car, on the radiator fans, radiator support, on the headlight, down the air deflectors in front of the radiator and ultimately it dripped down in spots on my driveway. I had numerous greasy fingerprints on the inside of my fenders, on my door jamb, on my door. If you make this big of a mess, at least put some effort into cleaning it up. My coolant level was left low, I am guessing there was still air in the system, but a customer shouldn't have to top off their coolant after having nearly $4k in repairs done, this should have been addressed by the tech working on the vehicle.

The SPECIAL on ID.4 was advertised on the Web - through ALL Dealers - Nationwide ..... Basically $149 + Tax & $999 Down. The Hayward dealer charged me $3,500 Out the Door + $212 monthly payments for 24 months - Did not honor the VW Advertisement. Today I got a call from VW San Jose offering same car - for $3,300 out the Door + $162 month for 24 months 10K miles - I feel CHEATED by VW Hayward - LOSS of over $1,200 by deception - Simple FRAUD & THEFT
